Dine with the magnificent view of the city skyline, sunset and the Bandra Worli Sea Link.
Yes, you read it right!!! The sea has always been synonymous to peace and rejuvenation for every Mumbaikar. So, the Flotel, sailing in the Arabian Sea, not just gives you a closer view of the beauty of nature but takes tranquility to the next level too. Hence, it is safe to say that the skyline of Mumbai has a new landmark. Although, the new kid on the block doesn’t run, it floats 😉
The Flotel, named ‘AB Celestial’, is a three-storied boat with multi-cuisine restaurants in it. Not just that, it has an open deck and a banquet hall to experience a 360 degree view of Mumbai and the Arabian Sea. Being a luxurious Flotel, the design of AB Celestial is rich. With a trendy combination of whites and blues along with props from the sea and maps of a boat ride, it’ll instantly give you a feeling of being on a cruise.
Now, let us take you through a few details that you need to know about AB Celestial. The ground floor will be a 24 hour coffee shop which will be functional from September first week, whereas, the first floor will be meant for banqueting.
The second floor will be a high-end lounge with a VIP deck,
The open terrace will be a mix of sky lounge and fine dining. You can enjoy multi-cuisine flavors at the restaurant. Having mentioned about the interiors before, we were mesmerized by the simple, yet classy, choices of the owner and director Mrs. Manju Bhende who has done the hotel interiors along with her daughter Aishwarya Bhende. The duo has taken care of every detail when it comes to the interiors of the Flotel.
Picture this, the cushions are fish, anchor and float shaped, the wallpaper of the lounge is ocean maps and the cafeteria has boat descriptions. Not only this, the safety of the guests is well taken care of at the AB Celestial.
In short, at AB celestial you can spend quality time in a luxurious way; from coffee to drinks and dinner to celebrations with a proximity to the horizon. The place not only offers the luxurious experience of a cruise but also gives you an actual feel of it. By the way, it has guests from the sea too. If you are lucky enough, when evening sets in, you might be able to see a few Dolphins in the wild. Well, one more reason to experience the ride, oops sail, for sure.
